Words Unspoken
When I look your way,
I can’t find the words to say,
searching through my mind,
wondering how could I be so blind…
Pushing you away so long,
now I finally found where I belong.
In your arms, I wanna stay,
you and me, wouldn’t want it any other way.
When you look at me and smile,
my pain fades for awhile,
and I’m not afraid to fall,
I know you’ll be there through it all.
Pushing you away so long,
but now I know I belong
in your arms, forever and a day,
couldn’t have it any other way.
Trying to find a reason why
to smile even when I wanna cry,
I hear your voice, look in your eyes
and it’s no surprise:
pushing you away so long,
who would have known, we belong
together, forever and a day,
won’t let anything get in our way.
Before we get lost in life’s trance,
I say love deserves a chance.
‘cause I know, (in background, softer?)
when the world crashes all around me,
I know just where you’ll be
and where I’ll run
when everything’s finally said and done…
Pushing us closer all along,
this is where we belong.
No more running away,
in your arms, may I always stay? (voice fades away)
