Standing on the front lines
feels like its the end of time
bullets flying past my head
look around to see the dead
wondering if my end is near
breathing hard consumed with fear
wondering how it got this way
help me Lord to see the day
when all this warfare comes to pass
as time goes through the hourglass
goodness has defeated death
the future holds eternal rest
wondering through this foreign land
as i take my one man stand
keep on going day and night
hoping it all will be worth the fight
end the battles we fought before
or else we'll vanish forevermore
