The Cosmic Law
I made you all a promise
And I told the whole truth
I won't let the little s***
Keep me down!
But when they pointed that scope
I lost all hope
It's quite a far cry
Let's embrace before we die
And fade away!
There's a mountain overhead
The Earth's a city of the dead
You know I never got to say
That I'm tired of my ways
Let's break away!
It's just a law of physics
That's making us our plight
gravitational attraction
Makes forty times the might
So many things!
How can I ever miss you?
I've never seen your face
I used to feel like a tool
Let's get out of this place
They've worked out all the math
And I've lost all hope
It's quite a far cry
Let's embrace before we die
All the little things!
Make one, big deal
It's the cosmic law baby
The guidebook of the stars
Let's throw away the rules
And jump into our cars
I don't know how to tell you
I don't know if you'll care
I'm drifting out in space
And I don't like my odds
