count the stars
how can you see right through me?
you made me laugh, you made me cry.
you keep me waiting and wondering why.
why are you laughing? why am i crying?
cant you see me? am i not here?
i thought you were an angel, but you're the devil.
you hurt me everyday, made me a rebel.
you always told me to ignore the freaks,
keep being me; stay off the drinks.
you hate me now, but what about then?
you stand up for me, the way you used to,
keeping me protected. yet you want me beheaded?
you're so confusing, i don't understand.
my mothers waiting, I've claI'med my land.
if I'm to stay away, can you come closer?
i want to forget, want life to be better.
if i had one chance, if i had one try.
i know i shouldn't, but i just have to.
can you help me? i think i have been fooled,
cus what you were, and what you are,
they are so different. just count the stars.
you took my gun, you took my knife.
did you know also?
