She Deserves Better
She opened up to him like a brand new flower,
Thinking that him and her would last forever.
Being admired by him was like living in heaven,
He was on her mind, twenty-four-seven.
They hit it off and loved poured down like rain showers,
Every night they would talk on the phone for hours.
Said to her she was his only one,
Lit up his world like the morning sun.
Enjoying the conversations between the two,
They were more than sure they would never be through.
Until he said, "I want a break-up,"
Tears made their way down her face, her eyes filled-up.
She deserves better,
Than just a boy who left without even so much as a letter.
She's falling apart,
From the way that he broke her heart.
I know without him she'll be just fine,
She can't see it now but, she will in time.
He was only a liar, and only pretending to love her,
She deserves so much better.
He ran off not even noticing her or saying a word at all,
Then he came back and said he never liked her, and watched her tears fall.
He told her lie after lie,
Until he finally came out with goodbye.
All that time spent talking on the phone for hours,
Never once did he leave her with a bouquet of flowers.
He didn't text her back for awhile,
Found it entertaining to watch her gorgeous face lose its smile.
She still liked him after he said he didn't like her, it was the way he touched
her lip,
But she was so confused on their relationship.
She deserves better,
Than just a boy who left without even so much as a letter.
She's falling apart,
From the way that he broke her heart.
I know without him she'll be just fine,
She can't see it now but, she will in time.
He was only a liar, and only pretending to love her,
She deserves so much better.
After she found out the truth,
About things she never knew.
She cried herself to sleep because her heart hurt,
Wiped her tears away with her favorite shirt.
She quit texting him that day and didn't text him for like three weeks,
Wrapped up in the idea that he was the reason her heart beats.
She missed their conversations they had on the phone for hours,
For once in her life, she'd wish he'd bring her some flowers.
She missed her texting him first, and him text back right away,
Now it's silent, not a word left to say...
She deserves better, (so much better)
Than just a boy who left without even so much as a letter.
She's falling apart, (She's falling apart!)
From the way that he broke her heart.
I know without him she'll be just fine, (She'll be fine)
She can't see it now but, she will in time.
He was only a liar, and only pretending to love her,
She deserves so much better. (She deserves better)
She deserves better,
Than just a boy who left without even so much as a letter.
She's falling apart,
From the way that he broke her heart.
I know without him she'll be just fine,
She can't see it now but, she will in time.
He was only a liar, and only pretending to love her,
She deserves so much better.
She texted him and said she loved him, June 23 was the day,
He texted her back and replied with just, "Okay..."
P.S. Remember to treat your girl with respect and love, never lie to her, because in the end it always hurts not only her, but yourself as well.
