..And She Was Gone.
I was afraid to say “Have a nice day”
For it could be her last
And although we denied it
This day was approaching fast
Soon enough I began to wonder
What it felt like for her
Would there be a heaven of splendor?
Or a hell deep in the earth?
Once her body was long gone,
Just like the life in her eyes,
Over her pictures we would fawn,
Mourning her untimely demise.
What had she done to appreciate this?
Nothing but a young girl she was,
She led a life of happiness and bliss.
We don’t know why life works the way it does.
On a stormy night she passed away,
Leaving our world for a fresh start.
And although she’s many heavens away,
She still lies in my heart.
