Terribly [Happy]
I know after tonight you'll still have dreams about me.
You'll still wonder once in awhile what it is about me
But after tonight that girl will make you terribly happy
But honestly how dare she.
I could see in her eyes she was all about you
I could tell by the way that she acted for you
And after tonight that girl will drive me terribly crazy
Cuz honestly how dare she.
But I'll fall away quietly, like I always have before
Stealing sounds of your voice, and sliding letters under your door
And when summer leaves silently, and the leaves don't fall anymore
Then you'll remember.
Until then, let the thunder bring back brighter days
While you're holding her hand til she lets it go and runs away
And she steals a part of you, And maybe you deserve that
But honestly how dare she.
But then you'll know how it feels, dwell on it, let it soak your skin
Let the terribly sinking feeling make you cringe from deep within
I hope you cry I hope you finally know what it means to break
But honestly how dare she.
Cuz you're the only one I've ever really loved.
