Queen
My queen,
You overrule every decision.
Living inside a royal mansion,
All alone.
My queen,
You capture everybody's attention.
Hoping that someone will care,
Enough to assist you run the thrown.
I spoke my words and I'll attempt to keep them,
Do my best to never let you parish.
Inhale deeply to fill up my lungs,
And breathe out slowly so that I can always remain young.
Close my eyes, I don't want to lose you,
In my mind is the only place this can stay true.
And the tallest tower isn't quite that high,
'Cause fairy tales are just scribbled pages filled with happy endings and little white lies.
My queen,
You're gorgeous, you acknowledge that,
The Greek goddesses are jealous, they talk behind your back.
So walk outside and unlock the gate,
I'll be waiting at the entrance a tad late.
Stopped by to pick up this flower bouquet.
And I stole this white horse from the stable,
Thinking we could escape this prison palace.
My queen,
Such a majestic sovereign.
I follow whatever you govern,
The whole way through.
My queen,
You replace the word of royalty.
Manage to always conquer me,
No matter what it is you do.
My queen,
Gather up all your luggage.
Leave behind a single message,
We'll be gone when they read it by noon.
My queen,
Get ready to leave here.
Relinquish from your mind all this fear,
It's time to go, this is our cue.
