How It Feels
Summer is already over,
And the air is growing cold.
The days become night really fast.
I can't find the urge to sleep,
Busy thinking of the past.
And I can't forget you at all, not even if I tried,
Seems I'm always stuck in my dreams.
Now, I realize.
How it feels to be broken,
When she leaves without a word being spoken.
The minute she walks right out that door,
And you know you've lost her forevermore.
'Cause, this isn't another fight,
You can't make up this time.
And now you're completely petrified,
Finally, I realize how it feels.
I could never find myself to stray,
Always needed to be close.
Though she managed to get far away,

Until it's slipped away with the days.
Yeah...
How it feels to be broken,

The minute she walks right out that door,
And you know you've lost her forevermore.
'Cause, this isn't another fight,
You can't make up this time.
And now you're completely petrified,
Finally, I realize how it feels.
Finally, I realize how it feels since she's so long gone,
And you can't help but think it's all of your fault,
And maybe she'd have stayed if you'd taken the blame.
Yeah, finally, it's so clear,
I realize.
How it feels to be broken,
When she leaves without a word being spoken.
The minute she walks right out that door,
And you know you've lost her forevermore.
'Cause, this isn't another fight,
You can't make up this time.
And now you're completely petrified.
How it feels to be broken,
When she leaves without a word being spoken.
The minute she walks right out that door,
And you know you've lost her forevermore.
'Cause, this isn't another fight,
You can't make up this time.
And now you're completely petrified,
Finally, I realize how it feels.
Yeah, yeah,
I realize, oh...
