One Night
(I only have this one night left in town,
And I wanna spend it with the girl I found.
So come back with me to my hotel room,
I'm so intoxicated by your perfume.)
Yeah, you see I was hanging out on the boulevard,
Showing off, dancing, going really hard.
It was my last day to enjoy this vacation,
I was catching waves, I wanted all the girls' attention.
I took a walk on the beach to clear my mind,
Then this stunning girl jogged by and I lost track of time.
It felt so wrong to stare, but I couldn't stop,
And when she turned around to speak to me I felt my heart drop.
(I think I passed out)
She said, "Hey there, boy, I think you're really cute,
Would you mind if I spent a little time with you?"
I couldn't catch my breath because it was exiting too fast,
This is my final night here, might as well make it last.
I only have this one night left in town,
And I wanna spend it with the girl I found.
So come back with me to my hotel room,
I'm so intoxicated by your perfume.
Here's the key: lead me up the stairwell,
We can do anything you want, I pinky-swear I won't tell.
Unlock the door and show me the definition of love,
It turns me on as inside I'm what you shove.
Crank the music, treat me rough, kill the lights,
Because in the morning, I wanna remember this one night.
I was wide awake for the whole game,
So caught up; I forgot to get her name.
Somehow, I ended up on the floor,
I checked the bed for her but she was already out the door.
Went out looking for her, I refuse to let her go,
It was feeling like déjà vu when I saw her walking toward me real slow.
I settled on just one more night,
It's my vacation and this time round I'm gonna get it right.
(No more mistakes)

Baby girl, I got the money,
So, I gotta ask, do you love me?
Because when I board my plane back home,
I don't wanna be going back alone.
You're welcome to come, there's room for two,
Do as you please, I can't make the decision for you.
She took me by my hands and looked me in the eye,
Smiled ever so brightly, but it looked as if she was about to cry...
She said, "Hey there, boy, I think you're really cute,
But did you know I'm not the girl for you?"
I couldn't catch my breath because it was exiting too fast,
Last night was so amazing, but now it's in the past.

After I return home, I'm gonna remember that one night...
