All I Want For Christmas
December is here at last,
But I'm still dwelling in the previous years past.
Thinking about why I never got what I asked for,
That could change this year though, for sure.
What I want cannot be bought,
And if I don't try, I'll lose my shot.
This year I'm not giving up,
Christmas is about happiness, so be my jolly love.
All I want for Christmas this year,
Is to have you wrapped in my arms and near.
Cuddling next to the fireplace,
Warming up the red cheeks on your face.
I want to kiss out in the frigid snow,
Freshly fallen, and make it slow.
Maybe fall asleep watching a Christmas movie,
And have your head resting on me.
I haven't lost hope just yet in Christmas magic,
This year, I want to make us a classic.
I'm the coldest I've ever been,
I'd be warmer if you would come in.
Eggnog is on the table, I know it's your favorite,
It's waiting to be drunk, just say when you want it.
You should see all the presents I bought,
Each one filled with love and thought.
I hope you're on your way soon,
Unwrapping starts at noon.
All I want for Christmas this year,
Is to have you wrapped in my arms and near.
Cuddling next to the fireplace,
Warming up the red cheeks on your face.
I want to kiss out in the frigid snow,
Freshly fallen, and make it slow.
Maybe fall asleep watching a Christmas movie,
And have your head resting on me.
I haven't lost hope just yet in Christmas magic,
This year, I want to make us a classic.
Christmas dinner is ready, where are you at?
Soon, I'll have no choice but to take your plate back.
I've wished so hard and I've been so good,
I guess you're not coming like I thought you would.
My cheeks are red and my stomach is green,
This is the only holiday that feels so mean...
All I want for Christmas this year,
Is to have you wrapped in my arms and near.
Cuddling next to the fireplace,
Warming up the red cheeks on your face.
I want to kiss out in the frigid snow,
Freshly fallen, and make it slow.
Maybe fall asleep watching a Christmas movie,
And have your head resting on me.
I haven't lost hope just yet in Christmas magic,
This year, I want to make us a classic.
All I want for Christmas is you,
But I guess my wish won't come true...
