Scenery is nothing more than poetry.
Love is nothing more than chemicals.
'Cause fairy tales are just scribbled pages filled with happy endings and little white lies.
One person can make a difference, but a crowd can make a change.

You lose yourself in their eyes when you sit next to them,
The pulse in your heart increases to a thousand beats per minute.
You struggle to find the words you want to say so bad,
Your tongue is strapped to the roof of your mouth.
And just when you're finally done sorting out your emotions,
You find out that they're not here alone.
The colorful smile that once covered your face,
Is now a blank canvas fading away.
And no matter how hard you try to forget,
That moment that you shared is implanted in your mind.
And you wish it was you holding their hand,
Locked so tightly, a grip that couldn't be broken.
And you wish it was you being held in their arms,
Hugging you close, trusting they'll protect you with everything they have.
You wanna look away but you're paralyzed in front of them,
Your feet wanna move but they can't make the steps.
Your heart ascended with every word they said to you,
But it fell to the ground and shattered when reality came into play.
Now you're struggling to find a cure for the pain you're suffering,
But there's no medication to fix a disappointed heart.
You see them in the hall up against the lockers,
Being hugged really tight by their other half.
They bury their head deep into the person's chest,
And you hold back the action to scream extremely loud.
Knots form in your stomach as you start to contemplate,
How quickly and easy it was to forget your name.
They walk out of school, deathly gripping each others hands,
A recurrence of the party resurfaces to your mind.
What happened to the moment, where you shared the same breath?
Was it ever real, or all just an illusion to escape reality?
And you wish it was you holding their hand,
Locked so tightly, a grip that couldn't be broken.
And you wish it was you being held in their arms,
Hugging you close, trusting they'll protect you with everything they have.
You wanna look away but you're paralyzed in front of them,
Your feet wanna move but they can't make the steps.
Your heart ascended with every word they said to you,
But it fell to the ground and shattered when reality came into play.
Now you're struggling to find a cure for the pain you're suffering,
But there's no medication to fix a disappointed heart.
How long until you see the side of them that once existed?
It may have only been for ten minutes, but you're sure it's hidden away.
And you never get the chance to have a moment alone,
To ask them if they even remember you at all.
So you sit all alone at home in your bedroom,
Drowning your pillow with your sorrow and some tears.
Because you thought this would be your fairy tale that finally came true,
But it's just another nightmare that deceived you from the start...
You lose yourself in their eyes when you sit next to them,
The pulse in your heart increases to a thousand beats per minute...
