Hello Means Goodbye
The moment in which we first met,
I knew you were someone I could never forget.
I saw the look in your diamond eyes,
When I caught you by surprise.
I wanted you and you wanted me,
It could have happened if we just believed.
After a while, we would slowly fade,
I wasn't aware you would just walk away.
Now I'm being eaten on the inside and it's bleeding out through,
What happened to when it was me and you?
I said hello,
Tossing rocks at your window.
You said goodbye,
Left me alone there to cry.
There was no reason for you to go,
Did my best to let my emotions show.
So clueless as to where you went,
I gave up the search because my heart is crooked and bent.
I hate greetings because they cover up the sole lie;
Hello means goodbye.
I could have said a word or I could have said a few,
You spoke once and only said two.
You're still lodged in my memory,
A small plane of existence where I remember our story.
I don't know where you are, not sure where you've gone,
I struggle to find out, it's been all too long.
There is damage inside me that I cannot explain,
I long to forget, but I can't make my brain.
I don't know where to go, where I should head,
I want to move on, but I would rather have you back instead.
I said hello,
Tossing rocks at your window.
You said goodbye,
Left me alone there to cry.
There was no reason for you to go,
Did my best to let my emotions show.
So clueless as to where you went,
I gave up the search because my heart is crooked and bent.
I hate greetings because they cover up the sole lie;
Hello means goodbye.
The moment in which we first met,
I knew you would be something I would regret.
I saw the reaction in your diamond eyes,
When I saw through every one of your white lies...
I said hello,
Tossing rocks at your window.
You said goodbye,
Left me alone there to cry.
There was no reason for you to go,
Did my best to let my emotions show.
So clueless as to where you went,
I gave up the search because my heart is crooked and bent.
I hate greetings because they cover up the sole lie;
Hello means goodbye...

Scenery is nothing more than poetry.
Love is nothing more than chemicals.
'Cause fairy tales are just scribbled pages filled with happy endings and little white lies.
One person can make a difference, but a crowd can make a change.
