United We Stand, United We Fall
You feel like a candle in a hurricane,
Fire, smoke, screaming,
Chaos, people everywhere,
We have to get out,
Stairwells packed,
Everyone fighting to live,
Just like a picture with a broken frame,
Passing a door,
I hear a call for help,
I can't leave,
I turn away from the route to safety,
I find you, but I can't get you out,
The tower shakes,
I know it's no use, it's too late,
You start to cry, begging me not to leave,
So I sit down, I hold your hand,
As the tower gives a final shake,
We face what is to come together,
Alone and helpless
