Where Are We Now?
It's been a couple of hours,
the night was supposed to be hours.
I'm getting light-headed,
I fell like I'm one legged.
Like a pirate (Arg?) One-eyed with a hook on,
keep sailing hard to the shining dawn.
But I will be all right, I just have one question.
Where are we now? Where are we now?
I'm running for my life can fake it, I don't know if I'll make it.
God only knows how. All the time people telling me, "Take a look at me now."
You thin I pay for this? You think I've got shame for the nature's kiss?
While your sitting in the city, do you take any pressure? Does the press make yo name look any fresher?
I came to the top, not with a Mamma's boy, girl's boy toy.
You be taking all the money and the fame and the shame on the Cheater's show, all the same.
While I sit all forgotten all by my self, like a former top-shelf.
If you get this letter, know I'll be coming back.
Be bigger than Shaq.
So goodbye old neighbor, just know that that soon you won't be any greater.
