"Neighbor Girl"
All the boys talking, "Did you see the new girl next door?
She's got a style, a kind of flavor nobody has ever seen before."
Can't say that I have, though I wish I had,
The way she dresses, how she flirts, she's so bad.
I'd love to get some one on one time,
Get out of my comfort zone and cross the line.
I'm not trying to get too serious too fast,
Though I want something worth it that will last.
I'm spending all night staring at the neighbor girl,
Acting as if there's nobody else in the world.
She sees me glancing out my window,
Smiles at me and simply waves hello.
Her baby blue eyes caught me off guard,
Now I'm like every other guy trying to catch her heart.
Such a tease, she's playing hard to get,
Twirling her hair, biting her lip, luring me into her net.
Funny thing, I won't fall for her trap,
Like all those other boys did with one zap.
If you're up for a date, then I'm sure as well down,
Send me a text when you're ready to sneak out.
So the new girl got a locker across from mine at school,
I dropped my pants down low and tried to act cool.
She shot me a dirty look and that's when I had to stop,
I couldn't pull off this look of hip-hop.
Later that day, we collided in the hall,
I wanted to say sorry but I muttered nothing at all.
Walking home in silence, I contemplate what I could have said,
A few simple words, and just maybe, I wouldn't be lying alone tonight in bed.
I'm spending all night staring at the neighbor girl,
Acting as if there's nobody else in the world.

It was two in the morning when she texted me to meet her at the park,
She said to come alone and to go to the spot most dark.
When I finally arrived I found her waiting there,
She took my hands and ran them through her hair.
She wrapped her arms tightly around my neck,
I thought I was dreaming, so I pinched myself to check.
Before I knew it, my hands had wondered to her waist,
What happened next was a kiss I never thought I would taste...

I was like, "Yeah, do you wanna know what we did before?"
