Medicine
[Intro]
Watch out!
[Verse 1]
Look what you want to say to me
You want to lie right to my face
Well all I have to say is
You’re just another one of them
Teaching your propaganda again
How ‘bout you have a taste of this
[Chorus]
It’s called a dose of your own medicine
I’m getting sick of your ego, sick of your lies
It’s a called a dose of your own medicine
I’m tired of getting blamed for, your own disguise
Watch out!
[Verse 2]
You bet your money on the fame
You’ve pushed the limit of hypocrisy
Allow me to show you who wins the game
Why do you continue to persist
Your fun is over, don’t resist
It’s time for your share of daily bliss
[Chorus]
It’s called a dose of your own medicine
I’m getting sick of your ego, sick of your lies
It’s a called a dose of your own medicine
I’m tired of getting blamed for
Your,
Own,
Disguise
[Bridge]
Throw another punch
Throw another punch
I dare you
THROW ANOTHER PUNCH
THROW ANOTHER PUNCH
THROW ANOTHER PUNCH
THROW ANOTHER PUNCH
When the sun sets
Please know
The battle has only begun
When the moon rests
Please know
The battle has only
BEGUN
(The battle has only BEGUN)
(The battle has only BEGUN)
[Outro]
You’re lucky
That I’ve found
My own medicine

This song was written by me with many mixed emotions about a hard time I was going through during school in past years. I wanted to write something about the conflict with others that I was feeling, so this is what was created. I take inspiration for the style of this song from the band Linkin Park. The last of my lyrics read:
"You're lucky that I've found my own medicine",
and to me, I believe that my medicine in real life was God, who helped me out of my tough situation. The best advice I could give you is, if you're stuggling with something, put your faith in Jesus and He will take care of you.
