Your love is my drug
When I tell you that I love you
I don’t care if you say it back
My head is high on the flu
My body slipping through the cracks
I know that I care
I know that I do
We don’t have time to spare
If only you'd pull through
You kill me slowly everyday
The knife closer to my heart
I don’t even dare to pray
For this is only the start
When I tell you that I love you
I don’t care if you say it back
My was the sky blue
Then it all went pitch black

I was inspired to write this piece because I feel like this is the common feeling for someone who likes or thinks that they love someone. It just came to me when I was feeling emotional.
