Butt kisser
I'm the biggest butt kisser ever.
As long as you go to school with me, I'll be your follower.
I'll do whatever it takes to make you like me.
What is self respect when there is peer pressure.
My smiles are full and free, your frowns are cold and mean.
Do I mind? Of course I do.
You travel in groups with your popular friends.
While the unpopular me travels in a pair with my shadow.
By the expression on your face, I can tell you look down on me.
By the limited words you say to me, I can't tell you don't like me.
You may have more friends than me, and most of the time I may hang out alone, by myself, like a loner.
But being nice to you even when you're so mean to me, won't get me new friends, it won't make me any happier and it definitely won't make me any nicer, because in all honesty being nice to someone just because he/she is popular just makes me a bad and manipulative person.
Today I start to smell the fresh air of self respect and stop suffering through the stink and stench of butt-kissing.

Memento Mori- It means that nothing lasts forever, no one is immortal, sooner or later you will die and things will come to an end. It also helps you realize that while you are living you should do the most with your life, live life to the fullest.
