Make Me Break
I have had enough.
Yeah,
I have had enough.
All those put downs,
Are only trying to bring me down.
I know that,
You are only trying to,
Make me break.
Well,
No more.
‘Cause,
I won’t break.
The only thing your breaking,
Others breaks in you.
Trying to put your self together,
‘Gain by breaking me down.
You say I can’t,
While I am over here doing it.
You lie straight to my face,
And you think I can’t see through it.
Yet,
I do.
Since your a boy,
And I am a girl you say,
That you are already better than me.
And in charge of me.
You know,
Just ‘cause society says something,
Doesn’t mean it’s true.
Just because I am a girl,
Doesn’t mean that I can’t,
Do what you do.
‘Cause,
I can.
And just as good as you could.
Just ‘cause I am a bit different,
Doesn’t mean I am totally different.
Yes,
We still have similarities.
But,
If you doubt us girls,
We will be fierce,
And prove you wrong.
Yeah,
We will.
We are fierce.
And you are wrong.
I have had enough.
Yeah,
I have had enough.

I am strong.
I am unbroken.
And,
I can do anything possible.

This is for girls, like me, who have been told by others (mainly boys), that they can't do something because they are a girl, or not smart, or anything else. This song is to tell them that they can even if they are told they can't. I feel that boys can also relate to these things, but I wrote the song especially for girls. Go Girl Power!
