Stella's Doll
There she was lying in the dark,
Stella’s doll.
Her glossy gold hair, all dirty and messy.
Scratches and scars all over her body.
Her little pink dress, shredded.
And her looks faded
“There she is”, said Stella, and
She tried to run to her to take her hand.
But her mother grabbed her. She was banned.
“Mom, let me go. I want to play with her.”
She replied, “You can play with anyone except for her.”
“But why mom? Why can’t I?”
“She is ruined, broken, just say goodbye.”
But how could Stella leave her best friend.
They promised to stay together till the very end.
She broke into tears.
She was with her for years.
Stella’s doll,
And now she was gone.
