Alan-
I look into your precious blue eyes
I listen to your frantic shallow breath
I know it's time to say my goodbyes
While you're standing face to face with death
If only I could find the words to say
I could tell you how much I love you
You've kept me from straying away
I would be gone if it wasn't for you
The final word on my lips; Yugen
Emotions too deep and mysterious
They leave me fathoming for words and again
I won't let them see how furious

This piece, i wrote the day before my grandfather passed away. It was written for him. My mother read him the poem, as she was finished she said "she gonna be great, watch over her" less than 12 hours later, he struggled to take his last breath, and was gone.
