Summer Night
Halfway through the month of June,
I put on a song and watched you swoon.
Your parents never knew I was in your bedroom,
We watched the stars outside your window along with the moon.
A summer breeze, a kiss on the cheek,
From head to toe, your body's on fleak.
Took off your clothes 'cause I wanted a peek,
Then I let all my feelings leak...
It was a summer night,
Nothing else ever felt so right.
Watched your green eyes glow bright,
The way you looked made me hug you tight.
Promise me you'll never be out of sight,
'Cause you shine a thousand times hotter than the sun light.
Baby, if loving you is wrong, don't let me be right,
And I hope you always remember our summer night.
Kissed me on the lips in the beginning of July,
I sat and watched your eyes start to cry.
I thought to myself first then asked you why;
You quoted, "I've never met such an amazing guy."
Sitting there with a smile on my face,
I've never been in such a better place.
So if you love me, tell me that's the case,
And if so, let me fill all your empty space.
August comes to an end,
I got this funny feeling I won't see you again.
Can you recite I'm not just a friend?
And that what we had wasn't just pretend?
Let's make one thing clear;
I always want you with me, stay near.
'Cause you belong in the front of my life not my rear,
And yes, I love you my dear...
