I’m tired of draggin’ these weights just like chains
The weight of this world, the weight of my pain
If I could stop all the problems, be the problem of who’s stopping me?
Because I’m not draggin’ these chains around-- No, I will be free!
I’ve been stuck to bottom of a sinking ship
I didn’t ask for this, wasn’t even my trip.
But I came into this world without the option of knowin’--
That hanging out was synonymous with “blow him”.

It’s a little bit crazy how the Earth’s changed through the years.
How our parents have created a scary world and left us to face all their fears.
Mr. President-Elect what will you do--
for the country, the people and everyone that’s lookin’ up to you?
I haven’t been here long, only 17 years.
But it’s enough to know we’ve gotta do something here.
I mean seriously, we are the generation that’s gotta deal with these choices!
We are the millennials full of potential don’t tell me you’re voiceless!
