Lukewarm
Time is passing quickly
Her attitude is prickly
He tries to escape
Will it be too late?
I don’t think it will
He’ll just get a big thrill
The girl he sees by the water
Reminds him of his father
Oh, he misses him so
But he’ll never know
he just left for the lake
she goes there at eight
to meet by the water
no one will they bother
Her eyes like crystal rain
Show years and years of pain
Her lips like dark spices
The fire she’s igniting
Will burn right through his chest
And leave her with a mess
Her skin is January snow
White and beautiful, very cold
He seemed to care about this ghost
But she seemed to love him the most
