Him
I wish that I could say I’ve never made a mistake
It’s too bad I can’t smile and tell you it will be okay
Cause I know it won’t be
Loving you broke me and honestly speaking you hurt me
I tried to understand you
Just when I thought I did you’d change
Leaving me to ponder what between us is real
And what is fake
I thought you loved me
I thought I loved you
How wrong was I
Now you’re loving my best friends
One loves you back
And would do anything to keep a hold on you
She hopes you won’t leave her
Prays you won’t fall for someone new
The other hates you
And would do anything to patch things up between us
She hopes to lose you
Prays you’ll find someone else
But me
I can’t decide what to think
Do I want to be friends or do I want things to end
Why do you hurt everyone you touch
One of my friends loves you
The other does not
Why do you want the one who’d do anything to stay away from you
Why don’t you want the one who would love you endlessly
If you only gave her a chance you’d see
She’s perfectly perfect for you
But instead you look away
She thought you loved her but now she’s unsure
When will you open your eyes and see
That she is about to give up on you
On me, on the world
Help me save her before it’s too late
I may not need you anymore but she does
I can’t fathom the thought of her not being here
Not being near
Don’t let her go, hold her close
One of my friends hates you
The other does not
Why do you want the one who would do anything to stay away from you
Why don’t you want the one who would love you endlessly
Open your eyes and see
She doesn’t love you as you think she does
Can’t she just be free
She thought she could fix things but it didn’t work
She’s so strong but I don’t think she can handle what is bound to happen
When will you see she’s not for you
Let her fly away on an open breeze
Can’t you see, she doesn’t need you or another boy
I opened my heart to you
I told you my story
I started to trust you and that doesn’t happen easily for me
I thought I could make you see
But the only things you see
Are the incorrect things
The person you think is right for you is not, she doesn’t like you
The one you think is wrong for you is right, she loves you
How I wish you would see that they’re too good for you
But you don’t
How I wish you would make the right decision
But you won’t

Two of my best friends are being torn apart from wrong accusations and assumptions. One of them loves someone, the other does not but is seen to be "flirting" with him. He can't see what they mean and is mixing their feelings up. I wish he would just get it right. I can't decide who to believe cause they both mean so much to me. I can't choose both, but I can't choose between.
