Sorrow

Silence in sorrow and silence in peace
To drift from sorrow to serenity
Does this the dark and shading cloud decrease
Or forever be a set identity

Sorrow the night and silence is its sound
Creeping up the walls of your safest places
In this way by its tendrils are you bound
By this the most draining of embraces

Coming in a state as if in a dream
Morbidity a blanket of obscurity
The mundane days and nights make seem
This ever present sense of false security

The inspiration which is a guiding light
The mind cuts away to a beautiful sight
