A Beating Bond

Beats inside, a symbol like no other
Gives Life, but also the reason to be alive
Seeing you through eyes of a new mother
It beats for one and so one ring on five
As it pumps the feeling spreads all over
Cuts have happened, but are always healed
All other fights can’t help but to loathe her
A bond was made and a fate was sealed
The rhythm stays constant, beating her name
For my blood and hers are made forever the same
