The god of the sun played a funny joke
Calling cupid a stupid saucy boy.
Cupid got frustrated and then he spoke:
You can hit everything with your big toy.
Cupid’s golden arrow made him seek love
When the other arrow caused her dislike.
As he watched his love Daphne from above.
She ran throughout the woods and the ficus.
He got closer to her, she ran faster.
She pleaded for help from her great father.
Apollo begged her not to run faster
She then felt the world starting to slower
There he looks at a tree in amazement
The girl was therefore in containment
