Senior Year
A year like this is something to cherish
A time in which you make the moments last
A thing that you do not want to perish
It’s like a fishing pole that you cast
Waiting for your future decisions to get reeled in
Afraid that you’ll never know what lies ahead
Not wanting your future to be random, as if picked from a bin
Something to think about every night as you go to bed
So we’ll party it up and try not to fuss
Thinking of all the great friends we’ll leave behind
All of the attributes and memories they have given us
Years from now they’ll always be there in the back of our minds
The four years together will sure be memorable ones
So many great stories I can share with my own sons
