Spring
The trees outside are so darn good looking,
Ever since this spring weather returned.
All of the sudden we’re outside looking,
And the skin on my shoulder is burned.
I am so glad that springtime is now back,
And barbecues with the family start.
It’s so hard since winters all out of whack,
But since the thaw is gone, warm, is my heart.
And yet again I look at the nice trees,
While the spring time sun shines so very bright.
It almost brings a person to their knees,
When they see the great beautiful light.
Because being with friends and family,
Sometimes only happens annually.
