At first patient and kind, an endless flow
Gentleness is its beginning nature
Liken to that of a wonderful slow
Song, cresendoing to an overature
Whilst hidden notes create dark effects
A blessèd harmony can not hold
Now distant melody frays and disects
Dissonant chords lay stories untold
Dispassionate and overbearing so
That a note contradicts that which it loves
Unduly it fades the way it must go
This harsh harmony, melody removes
Such a song likens to it but yet not
New memories won’t let it be forgot
