Change
There once was a girl with an ounce of hope.
She believed this war would be gone, done with,
That everyone would live in peace and cope,
But she soon found out it was all a myth.
One thing to learn from her journey to come
Is to not let change scare and frighten you
Or you might find yourself as the victim.
Some things are not held together with glue,
But this girl did not follow direction.
She faced change with confusion and panic.
Her world was of fantasy and fiction.
She slowly grew tired of these antics.
This young girl learned to forgive and forget.
Learn from her mistakes, they’ll save you from regret.
