Sell Your Soul
I find the days draw nearer now,
Escape for me my chances little.
The cloak of night it covers all,
Like fragile glass my life is brittle.
The Doom is real my fear is great,
My fate alas i must accept.
Destinys road its coarse unravels
My soul repays a lifelong debt.
A bargain made for loss of love,
For such a pain i could not bare
There seemed no other choice at hand.
My love, my love, it isn't fair.
In shadows lurk the harbingers,
Their wretched wails speak to me.
Eternally this curse i bare,
There is no end for me to see.
Deep down my soul is trembling,
When i look into the merciless eyes
Flinching in attempt to run,
My mind racing for any lies.
Succombed by all consuming fear,
my heart is slamming in my chest.
My feet are frozen to the ground,
It beckons me to be its guest.
The dark creature could see through me,
I stumbled backwords to the ground.
Looking up while it looked down,
I could see the pleasure in its frown.
The statues stood whitnessed,
the sky never told.
I had become my darkest nightmare,
The night i turned empty and cold.
