Someone like you
Hope, as thin as the air i breathe.
Weaving into and out of my life.
And just when i want it to leave,
It cuts me like a knife.
Not knowing why i need it,
Clearly, everything will go wrong.
Not knowing how not to decieve it,
When it's been sitting there all along.
In the end, love will find us,
And everything comes to a close.
And hope is there to remind us
That we were the ones it chose.
Having nothing ever to hope for,
Not knowing what to do.
Hope has been sitting in our core,
Waiting for someone like you.
