Your Eyes Offer Inspiration
Your love has revived my once steady heart,
Your touch, a static charge, drives head to toe,
What pain it would cause if we ever part,
The angels in heaven would never know.
The demons below, could they ever guess?
Your eyes can see through my painted disguise,
The way your hand cups my face to caress,
And much like you, it leaves me mesmerized.
A grandiose honor, I can proudly say,
With his face unique, carved out of marble,
In your mind, I wish to forever stay,
When outsiders speak, they are all garbled.
Luckier than most, I can call him mine,
No matter how much distant space or time.
