Butterflies
Some butterflies will never fly away,
And rarely will they ever really want
To see another place that might just haunt
Your soul, the way this place, to your dismay,
Is underground and hides from light of day.
All butterflies, they fly with grace, and not,
The way birds fly majestically. They flaunt
Their precious beauty, fluttering away.
I’m jealous of the butterfly that floats,
Across the sky just looking for a way,
To stay far from the haunted scary place.
Its beauty and its colors never gloat.
Some butterflies will always fly away,
To them it’s just a journey, not a race.
