When Will You See?
The first time I saw him was near the tree.
He was sitting there on the rusty bench.
Right away I knew we were meant to be.
It was him I wanted my love to quench.
He was all I could ever think about,
With his luscious hair and his dreamy eyes.
When he ignored me I was filled with doubt,
I would ponder whether my crush was wise.
Little did I know he felt the same way.
But he did not know if he had the guts,
So when he saw me he would look away,
And after I passed we would both go nuts.
But finally one day all of this changed.
When he said those three words, ‘twas all but strange.
