healer
The complete opposites wildly attract
Like two moths to a brightly burning flame
Our hearts entwined by a long lasting pact
With each other forever as love claims
And dictates our young hearts, our every step
It helps us see through the darkness of life
To reach for the warmth, even as we slept
A bittersweet feeling, this love so bright
The holes in my heart being filled with him
The tears in his being mended by me
I don’t know what I would do without him
There when I need him, he lets me just be
Whoever I want, whatever I feel
The gaping wounds that have begun to heal.
