Masquerade
Who is she the missing girl?
Spinning in circles, taking all blame
Scars of her heart bleeding of shame
Locking true smiles in a tear full shell
Thinking her world is a mask over hell
Running in fear with her masquerade
Never trusting a soul to take away her pain
Faith that in this she will forever dwell
But beyond her hopelessness is a beauty I see
Her crying out for love and a day to be free
All she needs is to hear the truth
To meet the gorgeous angel placed in her soul
By the God above who, beyond me, loves her so
One day she will know she is a gem among the youth
