Violin
Oh, I can hear the violin playing in the back ground…
Oh, I can hear the quiet tears…
For the dead who left all a sudden…
And a child whom had been here for years…
Oh, I can see the girl in my head…
She sits by the window and cries…
Hoping for a better tomorrow…
And that all of her enemies die…
Oh, I can feel the sadness upon her…
I can feel the distress that she hides…
To keep everyone else calm and comfortable…
And to keep the little sliver of pride…
Oh, I can hear the sound of the violin…
New grief and sorrow, they’ve found…
As the Preacher says kind words of sympathy…
And my corpse descends into the ground..
