Cupid's Stolen Arrow
Why do I love you, if you hurt me so?
Your heart runs as wild as an angry steed.
In the blink of an eye, you choose to go;
Soon after, you run back to beg and plead.
Your feelings change, just as the seasons do.
Though I've tried my very best, I can't keep track.
But somehow you keep me waiting for you,
Everytime you leave, I take you right back.
How can you hurt me, if you love me so?
Give me one good reason, and I'll understand.
But your mouth won't speak, because you don't know.
So, i've devised the most wonderful plan.
I'll find cupid, steal his bow and arrow,
Then shoot down your heart, like a dead sparrow.
