Run to a God
Thunder clouds beat down upon her chest
As her eyes wander across the vast ocean
She comprehends there is no time to rest
And so, She begins the familiar motion
Her mind is drowned in a sea of thoughts
Her feet, now, barely touching the sand
She stays straight, but remains lost
She wants to be somewhere no one else can
For miles she runs, for the path she takes never ends
Her legs moving in perfect unison
She attempts to break the thunder's silent trends
But soon, she realizes she is done
A Rainbow appears despite the rest
As She continues her important devotions
