Less is More
Such an intriguing face to glorify,
A perfect shadow from your silhouette,
It is said that the soul is seen through the eye,
To my dismay, you haven’t proved wrong yet,
Disregard the rules, you have your own beat,
Your heart beats humble, reaching me within,
You bring out my best, but our ends don’t meet,
Less more than none, let it be paper thin,
Cry as I watch sand slip through the hourglass,
You don’t understand, you have not a clue,
I shall try to reach you before I pass,
My last words, I promise, will be of you,
I hope you accomplish what you wish for,
When with you, less is definitely more.
