The Mysteries
Endless distance and far off places
One person, I stand alone
It's a constant swirl of faded out faces
Take what I lost and make it known
I stand before you waiting for something
A hint of the dream I used to hold
You take what's yours and leave me with nothing
And laugh as my sorry life unfolds
So I'll wait here forever until the sun shines
And the dream becomes my own
You leave me be and I'll be fine
Just going through life alone
