Perfect Day
Cold winter morning with the sun rising over the peak
Arriving at the top, my skis touching the fresh snow
The cold fresh powder i could feel upon my cheek
I looked over at the snow makers who had no reason to blow
I was venturing down the mountain recklessly
Frolicking in the white fluff
I took the first face courageously
To me it wouldn't be tough
In the distance i could see my obstacle
Getting closer to the prize
It was a man sucking on a popsicle
I had to close my eyes
The view was incredible, one way or the other
Even though the man was my brother
