Technology Take Over
Technology has taken over us.
I used to take nature walks in the park.
Now, all of the benches and swings are rust.
It is noon and the park is still, so, dark.
Nature was important, but now it’s phones.
Outside can now be just a fake background.
There are apps, fun games, and fancy ringtones
Replacing nature’s noise are man-made sounds.
People no long care about fresh air.
They don’t see a need to feel the warm sun.
Videogames and T.V. shows are there.
Nature has lost, technology has won.
It is too late for the earth to go green.
The future was more harmful than it seemed.
