Sonnet.
With you, even the lightest touch lingers,
Both our hearts beating like a metronome,
How this all started I can't distinguish;
Our fates collide but they claim it's all wrong.
You're my sunshine after the seven plagues,
You're the sweetest sin I'm proud to commit;
An unforgiving passion with a face,
Irrevocable love which I admit.
They say that with you, I have lost my mind,
But I've disowned it very long ago;
Please don't lead me astray, or have me find
That the paths intertwined just aren't so.
Allow me to get lost inside those eyes,
But find me and keep me, make them ask why.
