Chocolate
Thou art darker than milk,
Your taste richer than candy.
Although you’re not as soft as silk,
On Valentine’s Day you are quite handy.
You are fudge oozing in my mouth,
Rushing down my throat.
Better than the apple pie in the South,
Or floating in a river on a boat.
Your texture intrigues me,
Always changing like a teenage girl.
I think about you when I ski,
If I were to live without you I would hurl.
You are my delicious chocolate,
And to me you are well fit.
