Knowing Me
If you'd look at me you'd think,
That I was just a girl.
You'd think that I was ordinary,
That I haven't been beat by the world.
But then you'd get to know me,
You'd really like me a lot,
You'd think that I was pretty "chill”,
Well that was what you bought.
Then we’d become inseparable,
Our friendship couldn’t be tamed,
You would tell me everything,
And you’d think I did the same.
At last you’d learn how deceiving,
Looks can truly be,
You’d learn the truth that I knew all along,
That you never ever truly knew me.
